The Decolorization and Phytotoxic Efficiency of Jackfruit Seed on a Textile Dye Novacron Blue

Industrial wastewater containing dye can cause severe destruction to the human immune system as well nervous system. The purpose of present study is optimize decolorization a textile Novacron blue on surface jackfruit seed powder (JSP). Jackfruit be obtained at low cost and used without further purification/chemical treatment adsorb some pollutants its surface. About 73% was adsorbed JSP after 60 minutes contact time. Effects various physico-chemical parameters such adsorbent dose, initial concentration, pH, temperature, time adsorption have been investigated. found increased initially with dose become maximum 10 g adsorbent. capacity 0.732 mg/g. efficiency inversely proportional concentration blue. Basic medium temperature are preferred by for JSP. Kinetics accomplished pseudo-first-order pseudo-second-order model. Phytotoxic Red Amaranth reveals abolishment hazardous species from wastewater.
